It was designed to be a sleeper car, all the power but nothing that screamed “modified”. It has a few names, primarily “R2” after everyone’s favourite droid.
This R32 has been meticulously looked after with regular services (comes with a box of paperwork). The car was featured in VW Driver magazine issue 127 (December 2010), mag included.
Last of the infamous VR6 powered Golfs… a true modern classic. This specification combined with the upgrades and provenance qualifies this R32 as the ultimate Golf and something rather special. Stunning condition and highly maintained.
